Power surge protection for power supply systems – surge arrester KSD-T2 275/40 1P
This varistor surge arrester, class 2 (T2/C), is a key element in protecting electrical installations from the effects of overvoltage. It is suitable for both buildings without a lightning protection system and those with a cable connection, where it provides sufficient protection without the need for class 1 arresters (T1/B). Designed to operate in TN/TT networks, it protects against induced and switching surges that can damage sensitive equipment.
The KSD-T2 arrester is manufactured in the European Union and meets the requirements of PN-EN61643-1, guaranteeing its reliability and effectiveness. Installation is on a standard TH35 rail, making it easy to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure. Thanks to its compact size (1 module), it does not take up much space in the switchgear.

The protection level voltage U(p) ≤1.3kV ensures effective limitation of overvoltages to a safe level. The connection terminal block facilitates the connection of wires. The IP20 degree of protection indicates protection against accidental contact, but not against water ingress. This makes these arresters ideal for indoor use.
