The RU-3 distribution box is a practical solution for both installers and end-users, providing a central point for electrical power distribution. Designed for the installation of 3-phase electricity meters and protective devices, it offers comprehensive protection for electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. Its solid construction and functionality make it a reliable element of any installation.

Construction and functionality

The distribution box has been designed with easy installation and user convenience in mind. Inside, there is a board for a 3-phase electricity meter, which simplifies its installation. The TH-35 Euro rail provides space for 12 S-type protective devices, enabling effective protection of circuits against overload and short circuit. N (7 holes up to 16 mm²) and PE terminal blocks guarantee safe and organized connection of neutral and protective conductors. Removable door, locked with a snap or padlock (option Z), increases security and protects against unauthorized access. Versions with a meter reading window (option O) are also available, eliminating the need to open the distribution box to check energy consumption.

Application and compliance with standards

The RU-3 distribution box is ideal for use in installations with a rated current of up to 63A. It meets safety requirements and is designed to operate under standard conditions. Thanks to the universal design, it can be used in both flush-mounted and surface-mounted installations. Self-adhesive labels facilitate the description of equipment, increasing readability and safety. The IP44 protection rating provides protection against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction – which is important in environments exposed to moisture or dust.
