Universal meter box – solid protection for your installation

This universal RU-3L meter box is a practical solution for both installers and end-users. Designed for flush-mounting or surface-mounting, it provides a safe and convenient location for your electricity meter. The design allows for easy reading of the meter, especially with the window version.

Functionality and construction

The meter box is designed for three-phase installations. Inside, there is a mounting board dedicated to a 3-phase meter, making it easier to position it correctly and stably. The door is available in two versions: solid or with a window for reading the meter – the choice depends on individual preferences and needs. Additionally, the meter box can be equipped with a snap closure or a padlock, increasing security and limiting access to the interior.

It is worth noting the solid construction – the housing is painted white RAL 9016, which provides an aesthetic appearance and corrosion resistance. The IP30 protection rating guarantees protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. The meter box is designed to operate at voltages up to 500V and currents up to 63A.

The meter box dimensions are: width 255 mm, height 405 mm, depth 185 mm, and depth E (for electronic meter) is 115 mm.
