Meter distribution board – solid protection and convenient installation

This surface-mounted distribution board from Karwasz is a reliable solution for installing three electricity meters in a 3-phase system. Designed for multi-family construction, it is suitable for both multi-family homes and commercial premises where individual energy consumption measurement is crucial. The construction provides easy access to the meters and safe placement of protection devices.

Functionality and construction

The RU-3-3L-24 Z distribution board has been designed with professional installation and convenient operation in mind. Inside there are three boards for 3-phase meters, as well as a TH-35 rail, which allows for the mounting of protective devices. Space for 24 type S circuit breakers with covers for sealing provides comprehensive protection of the electrical installation. Additionally, N and PE terminal blocks (with holes up to 16 mm²) facilitate cable connection. Solid doors with a patented lock guarantee security and prevent unauthorized access to the inside of the distribution board.

Worth knowing: The use of patented locks increases security, especially in public places or where there is an increased risk of interference from third parties.

Specification and application

Made of white painted steel (RAL 9016), the distribution board is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The IP30 protection class provides protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. This makes the device safe to use and meets the required standards. Its dimensions are 610 mm wide, 560 mm high and 185 mm deep, and the E depth (for electronic meters) is also 185 mm. Application in circuits with a voltage of up to 500 V and a current of up to 63 A makes it a universal solution for various electrical installations.
