Wpust Classic is a complete set for point drainage of floors inside buildings - especially where a durable and aesthetic connection with PVC flooring is required. Model 40250.31 is equipped with a vertical outlet DN50 and a solid V2A stainless steel grate with a diameter of 141 mm and a thickness of 4 mm. The screw-on construction ensures secure fastening of the cover - two Allen screws are seated below the surface level of the grate, which eliminates the risk of cutting a bare foot and simultaneously protects against unauthorized disassembly.

The body of the drain is made of ABS plastic - lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and highly resistant to contact with construction chemicals. Inside, there is a removable water trap with a height of 50 mm, which creates an effective barrier against unpleasant odors from the sewage system. Removing the trap is simple thanks to the Lock&Lift system - it simultaneously locks and allows for the easy removal of the element. This significantly facilitates periodic maintenance without the need to disassemble the entire set.

Sealing system and height adjustment

The drain is equipped with a lip seal permanently attached to the body - it cannot be forgotten or accidentally displaced during installation. This is an important feature for installers working under time pressure. Additionally, the telescopic adapter allows for smooth height adjustment, enabling the drain to be adapted to various floor layer thicknesses without additional spacer elements.

The product belongs to the System 100 modular system, which means compatibility with accessories and expansion elements from the same KESSEL line - useful for larger projects or later installation expansions.

Flooring installation and load capacity

The fastening of the PVC flooring is carried out using 6 screws, which are screwed directly into the collar of the body. This solution guarantees a stable and even edge connection between the drain and the floor - without the risk of edges peeling off or shifting during operation.

In terms of load capacity, the drain meets the requirements of class K3, which means an allowable load of up to 1 ton. This is a sufficient margin for typical domestic and partially commercial use - pedestrian traffic, wheelchairs, or light transport trolleys do not pose a problem.

Compatibility and finishing options

The model is available with both vertical outlets (as in this case) and lateral outlets - in nominal sizes DN50 and DN70. In addition to the standard round slot grate, KESSEL also offers Oval design grates, covers for tile inlay, and other stylistic variants. There is also the possibility of equipping it with the Multistop system - an additional protective barrier against odors, foam, and insects.

The manufacturer has also provided the option of using a Variofix adapter, which allows for sealing using liquid waterproofing compounds - useful for more demanding floor constructions or areas exposed to intensive flooding.
