Construction and principle of operation

The Staufix FKA Komfort valve is characterized by a two-flap protection system. Under normal conditions, both flaps remain open, allowing for free flow of wastewater. In the event of reverse flow, the FKA flap automatically closes, blocking the return of sewage into the building. The second flap serves as an emergency manual shut-off and allows for easy closure of the installation during construction or maintenance work. The Comfort controller provides an additional level of security thanks to the self-diagnosis system (SDS), battery backup and the possibility of integration with the building management system via a potential-free contact or GSM modem (alarm signaling).
