This aluminum base, a spare part for the four-sided CONNECT ALK54x/8 mini-trunking, is a key component of the underfloor installation system. Functionality and durability in one

The mini-trunking design allows for the installation of up to 16 modules – four on each side. This allows for efficient cable management and the creation of an organized workstation. Made of aluminum, the base guarantees not only mechanical strength, but also corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Aluminum is a lightweight yet very durable material – this is important both during transport and installation.

Safety and compliance with standards

The mini-trunking has been designed with user safety in mind. It has a protection rating of IP4X, which means protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm. Additionally, it meets the requirements for dielectric strength (2000 V/50 Hz for 1 minute) and electrical continuity (5 MΩ at 500 V). Separation of wires in separate chambers minimizes electromagnetic interference between different circuits, which is particularly important in modern offices and public spaces. The product is resistant to operating temperatures up to +120°C and briefly to heat up to +650°C (according to IEC 60695-10-2).

The dimensions of the base are 210 mm high, 125 mm wide and 125 mm deep – these compact dimensions make it easy to integrate with different types of floors. The set includes front covers, a top finishing strip, a floor stand and a complete mounting kit.
