DATA socket (mechanism) 16A, 250V~, screw terminals, SIMON54 SGD1M
Universal socket for installation – reliability and easy mounting
This DATA (mechanism) socket from Simon 54 is designed for electrical installations with a voltage of 250V and a current of 16A. Equipped with screw terminals, it ensures a solid and secure connection of wires. It is ideal for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones. Flush-mounting allows for aesthetic integration of the socket into the wall, and the compact size saves space in the installation box.
Comfort of work and adaptation to needs
The Simon 54 mechanism is distinguished by a well-thought-out design that facilitates and speeds up installation. The new bridge with spirit level supports allows for precise positioning of the mechanism, and the metal mount presses the frame to the bridge, masking any imperfections of the installation boxes. Base protrusions help maintain vertical or horizontal alignment of multiple sets. In addition, special openings allow mounting without boxes – e.g., directly to wooden surfaces. The socket is compatible with universal multiple frames, both in vertical and horizontal arrangements.
Safety and durability of execution
The socket is made of high-quality plastic with refining and antistatic additives, which guarantees color durability and resistance to damage. The recess on the body defines the optimal length of wire stripping, and the busbar cover minimizes the risk of electric shock after removing the socket covers. The small body of the double socket sinks into the box only 9 mm, which is particularly important with limited space in the installation box. The applied clips bypass the sleeves of screws and wire entries in combined installation boxes, providing convenience when connecting wires from the back of the mechanism – this eliminates the need to bend wires and allows for the installation of short wires. Covered clips and a rounded body without sharp edges further increase safety.
