Staircase switch – reliable lighting control

This double staircase switch with LED backlighting is part of the Simon Basic modular series, designed for both new construction and renovation projects. It allows convenient control of lighting from two different locations, which is particularly useful in hallways, staircases or larger rooms. The satin silver finish adds elegance and subtly blends into various interior designs.

Functionality and installation

The switch is designed for flush mounting and features a solid construction and easy installation thanks to screw terminals. The switching current for fluorescent lamps is 10AX, and the rated voltage is 230V, ensuring compatibility with most standard electrical installations. The mounting depth of 24 mm allows for discreet placement of the switch in the wall.

It is worth noting the additional features of the Simon Basic series: metal protrusions on the bridge facilitating maintaining the vertical alignment when mounting multiple sets, as well as the possibility of using the Basic Module K45 adapter, which allows integration with frames of the 45 x 45 mm standard. This solution provides great freedom in design and adaptation of accessories to individual needs. Additionally, multiple frames can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.
