Universal enclosure for electrical installations

The S500 enclosure frame is an element of the SIMON 500 system, designed for mounting a single module. It is ideal for both new construction and the modernization of existing installations. It provides an aesthetic finish to electrical points and safe protection of sockets and plugs. Compatible with K45 modules, it allows for flexible adaptation to individual needs.

Construction and mounting

Made of durable plastic, the frame features a matte finish in dark gray graphite (RAL 7021). The possibility of mounting both horizontally and vertically provides great freedom of arrangement. Thanks to precise workmanship and toothed clips, the frame perfectly adapts to wall irregularities, ensuring an aesthetic appearance. It is worth mentioning the possibility of using an optional deepening frame, which allows increasing the depth of the enclosure to 80 mm – useful for installations in difficult conditions or requiring more space.

Functionality and safety

The S500 enclosure not only improves the appearance of the installation but also ensures its safety. It complies with directive 2011/65/EU RoHS and has CE marking, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, it is characterized by high impact resistance (IK07) and a degree of protection IP40 against access to live parts. The base of the enclosure can serve as a template for precise execution of the hole in the wall, and pre-weakened holes with a diameter of 20 and 25 mm facilitate the introduction of wires and cables. For installers, it is also important to be able to connect sockets without using wires and independent mounting brackets for different circuits (power, telecommunications or multimedia).
