The Simon54 series RTV-SAT end/termination socket is an advanced solution for the distribution of television and satellite signals in residential and commercial installations. Finished in matte gold, it provides an elegant appearance while maintaining high functionality.

Technical parameters and signal characteristics

The device offers 3 coaxial ports allowing for the simultaneous connection of RTV and SAT receivers. It is characterized by low signal attenuation of 1 dB for 860 MHz frequency and 2 dB for 2150 MHz frequency, which guarantees minimal signal quality loss even at the high frequencies used in modern satellite installations.

The end socket model is adapted for remote power supply, enabling the construction of extensive antenna networks with multiple reception points.

Construction and materials

The socket is made of thermoplastic with a metallized matte gold surface, coated with a lacquer that ensures color durability and abrasion resistance. The advanced plastic contains enhancing and anti-static additives that protect against fading and maintain an aesthetic appearance for many years of use.

The IP20 protection rating provides basic protection against contact with live parts and against access to solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.

Mounting and installation system

Mounting is performed flush-mounted using claws and a screw, ensuring stable fastening. The design allows for direct mounting to wooden surfaces through special holes in the mounting bridge.

Base protrusions help maintain perfect vertical or horizontal alignment with multi-gang sets, and a recess on the body defines the optimal wire stripping length, simplifying the installation process.

User safety

The live rail shroud minimizes the risk of electric shock even after removing the socket covers, while shielded mounting clips and a rounded body eliminate the risk of cuts during installation and operation. Non-dropping terminal screws do not get lost during installation, significantly facilitating the work of installers.

Universal multi-gang frames are adapted for both vertical and horizontal configurations, and all elements are prepared for an IP44 version (simply add a gasket), expanding the range of applications even in high-humidity environments.
