The plate has no label and a matte surface finish. It is intended for "other" applications according to the ETIM classification, which means its wide range of applications in various types of telecommunications installations. The plate is supplied in a raw state, ready for painting or lacquering in any color to match the interior design (although the white version is most commonly found). The material used is thermoplastic, providing adequate electrical insulation and mechanical strength. The plate has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against solid bodies with a diameter of more than 12.5 mm – a standard for this type of electrical installation accessories mounted indoors.
