This Schuko socket cover with earthing and flap, from the Simon 82 series, is a practical solution for both installers and end users. It provides not only protection against moisture and dirt (IP44 flap) but also increases safety, especially in homes with children. Shuttering of the current paths prevents the introduction of objects other than a plug into the socket.

The cover is dedicated to mechanisms of sockets 75432-39 and 75464-39. Made of durable duroplastic, resistant to scratches and aging, it guarantees long-term reliability. The matte graphite (black) finish fits perfectly into modern interior designs.

Construction features and mounting advantages

The Simon 82 Detail series is distinguished by its original design – the frame appears to “emerge from the wall”, giving the installation a unique look. The mechanism design provides more space for wires in the recessed box, making installation and correct connection of wires with a cross-section of 1 to 2.5 mm² easier. A special design allows mounting wires with insulation without the need to strip them in the recessed box – this saves time and increases comfort. Additionally, the design prevents the first wire from falling out during the installation of the second. The rounded edges of the bridge minimize the risk of cuts during installation.

Durability and interior matching

Simon 82 covers are made of duroplastic – a material with high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The availability of a wide range of colors (39 colors in the Simon 82 series and 20 inspired by nature in the Simon 82 Nature series) allows for a perfect match to the decor of any interior. The possibility of combining Simon 82 Nature frames with sockets and switches from the Simon 82 Select series gives great freedom of arrangement. However, it should be remembered that double sockets only fit frames from the 82 Detail line, and not from the 82 Nature frames.
