Flush-mounted Schuko socket – comfort and safety in a modern design

This double Schuko socket, designed for flush mounting, combines functionality, safety and aesthetics. Made of high-quality materials in a matte silver color, it fits perfectly into minimalist, Scandinavian interior designs. Shuttering of the current-carrying tracks increases safety, minimizing the risk of accidental contact with live wires.

Construction and mounting features

The Simon 54 series is characterized by a well-thought-out design that simplifies and speeds up installation. The new bridge with spirit level supports allows for precise adjustment of the mechanism. Metal mounting presses the frame against the bridge, masking any imperfections of the installation boxes. Additional basing protrusions help maintain vertical or horizontal alignment when mounting multiple sets.

The socket offers a number of conveniences for installers:

• Rear connection of wires eliminates the need to bend wires and allows for mounting short sections.

• Non-falling screw terminals prevent them from being lost during work.

• A recess on the housing indicates the optimal length of wire stripping.

• Possibility of mounting without boxes thanks to special holes allowing screwing the bridge directly to the wooden surface.

Thanks to the shielding of the busbars, the socket provides additional safety – even after removing the socket covers, the risk of electric shock is minimal. Covered claws and a rounded body without sharp edges further increase comfort and safety. Claws with a diagonal construction bypass the sleeves of screws and wire entries in combined installation boxes, which facilitates mounting in tight spaces. Advanced plastic with refining additives guarantees color durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
