The Simon 55 series single-pole latching button is a modular electrical installation accessory, designed for both home and commercial use. It is perfect for anywhere a reliable and aesthetic momentary switch is needed – for controlling lighting, blinds, gates or doorbells. Its versatility will be appreciated by both professional installers and end users.

Comfortable installation and safety of use

This module is distinguished primarily by its ease of installation thanks to the use of quick connectors. These allow for quick and secure connection of wires without the need for tools. A current rating of 10AX ensures stable operation even with frequent switching of devices with higher power consumption. Made of high-quality halogen-free PC plastic, it minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing safety.

Aesthetics and functionality in one

The button features an elegant matte white finish (close to RAL 9003) that blends perfectly with modern interiors. The standard protection class IP20 can be increased to IP44 by using a dedicated frame seal, which allows installation in rooms with increased humidity – bathrooms or kitchens. Additionally, it is possible to purchase a lighting element for better visibility in the dark. However, please note that the backlight is not standardly included in the set.

Quick connectors facilitate and speed up installation, eliminating the need for tools. A current rating of 10AX ensures reliable operation even with higher loads. Halogen-free material increases fire safety by minimizing the emission of toxic gases. The possibility of obtaining IP44 allows installation in humid rooms (when using appropriate seal). Elegant design in matte white color fits most interior arrangements. Monostable NO contact is ideal for controlling devices requiring a momentary signal (e.g. doorbells). Flush-mounting is a standard solution providing an aesthetic look of the installation.
