This socket-outlet from the Simon 10 series, designed for flush mounting, is an economical and functional solution for various electrical installations. Made of high-quality plastic, it ensures reliability and durability. Designed to operate at 250V and 16A, it is ideal for use in rooms exposed to moisture – thanks to its IP44 protection class.

The socket-outlet has current path shutters and a transparent flap, which increases safety, especially in places with a higher risk of contact with water. Quick connectors facilitate and speed up installation, saving installers time. Please note that an additional frame seal is required to achieve full tightness.

Construction and mounting

The Simon 10 series is characterized by a solid construction based on a flexible bridge made of high-quality plastic. This bridge does not conduct electricity, providing additional protection during installation and use. Reinforced mounting of electrical wires with a profiled clamp guarantees a secure connection and minimizes the risk of wires loosening. The socket-outlet occupies only 11mm depth in the flush-mount box, making installation easier even in limited space.

Mounting is done with claws or screws, ensuring stable fixing of the socket-outlet in the wall. The frame of the socket-outlet can be removed without having to disassemble the cover or key, making any maintenance work or element replacement easier.

Safety and compliance with standards

The Simon 10 socket-outlet meets all required safety standards, providing protection against overload and short circuit. Shuttering of the current openings further minimizes the risk of electric shock. The IP44 protection class guarantees resistance to splashing water, making it an ideal choice for bathrooms, kitchens, workshops and other rooms with increased humidity.
