The MDZ XL_KB mounting box is a dedicated solution for electrical installations on thermal facades of buildings. Designed to eliminate thermal bridges, it provides safe and aesthetic mounting of devices such as outdoor lighting, motion sensors or 400V sockets. It is not only a mounting element, but an integral part of the insulation system, which allows maintaining the energy efficiency of the building.

Functionality and construction – a combination of practicality and durability

The MDZ XL_KB mounting plate is made of durable plastic, which guarantees its resistance to weather conditions and mechanical loads. Its dimensions (238 x 238 x 42 mm mounting plate and 63 x 39 mm box) allow for free routing of cables and mounting of accessories. The set includes high-quality expansion bolts and mounting screws, which facilitate and speed up installation. The plate is significantly larger than standard solutions, which increases its stability and allows creating larger mounting surfaces by connecting several plates. A load of up to 40N at a distance of 180 mm from the wall ensures a secure hold even for heavier devices.

The MDZ XL_KB box is designed for use in thermal insulation systems with a thickness of 50 to 200 mm, and even up to 300mm, making it a universal solution for different types of buildings. Thanks to it, installers can avoid the problematic routing of cables from inside the building and ensure an aesthetic appearance of the installation. For end users, this means safety, durability and no risk of thermal bridges, which negatively affect heating bills. The possibility of using screws with a diameter of 4 to 5 mm provides flexibility during installation. Additionally, the plate allows mounting two devices when using a cover or three without it within a common frame.
