Split protective conduit – cable and wire protection

This red, split conduit KH 160 is a reliable solution for protecting cables and wires, both during new installations and during the modernization of existing systems. Made of durable polyethylene (PE), it provides effective mechanical protection and is ideal for underground applications and in harsh conditions. ### Construction and installation – quick and convenient

The conduit consists of two identical parts, which simplifies its installation. Simply place the cable or wire in one part of the conduit, then press the other part on, creating a solid and secure cover. The connection of segments is achieved by overlapping the top part onto the bottom part over a length of approximately 30 cm. This installation method minimizes working time and allows for quick adaptation to changing conditions on the construction site.

### Properties and applications

The KH 160 protective conduit is characterized by high compressive strength (Type 750 according to EN 61386-24) and impact resistance. This is particularly important when laying cables in places exposed to mechanical loads, e.g. under roads or sidewalks. The smooth inner and outer surface facilitates cable pulling, and the red color ensures good visibility during installation work and subsequent identification.

The KH 160 protective conduit is manufactured and tested in accordance with ČSN EN 61386-24, which confirms its high quality and reliability. The outer diameter of the conduit is 160 mm, and the inner diameter is 136 mm, providing sufficient space for cables of various thicknesses.
