The KEW3123A high-voltage insulation resistance tester is a digital measuring device designed for performing control and periodic tests in electrical installations and equipment. It operates with test voltages of 5 kV and 10 kV, allowing for the inspection of insulation status in both standard network systems and industrial installations with higher requirements.

The meter enables the measurement of very high insulation resistance values with automatic range selection - the device itself decides on the optimal measurement scale, eliminating the need for manual switching by the operator. Two available scales (low and high) are signaled by LED diodes, which warn the user of the current operating mode.

Rugged construction for work in difficult conditions

The hard-structure housing provides protection against mechanical impacts typical of transport between sites and daily operation on construction sites and industrial halls. The meter is water-resistant, which is significant when working outdoors in variable weather conditions or in humid industrial environments.

The set includes a carrying case, which protects the device during transport between locations - particularly important when performing regular measurements of distributed installations.

User safety and operation

Equipped with a detachable high-voltage test lead, it facilitates the configuration of the measurement station and the replacement of cabling in case of mechanical damage to the lead.

After the measurement is completed, the automatic discharge function of the measurement circuit is active - the circuit automatically discharges the accumulated energy, reducing the risk of electric shock when touching the measurement leads.

The device carries the CE marking, confirming compliance with the applicable safety standards in the European Union market.
