The sediment basket for the WM2-150D bridge inlet is an element of the water drainage system for civil engineering structures such as bridges and roads. Made of steel, the basket is corrosion and mechanical damage resistant, guaranteeing its reliability even in harsh weather conditions.

Construction and application

The sediment basket is intended for mounting inside the body of the WM2-150D bridge inlet. Its task is to catch leaves, branches, sand and other impurities that could get into the water drainage system. Thanks to this, the basket minimizes the risk of blockages and ensures a free flow of water, especially during heavy rainfall. The basket design allows for easy removal and cleaning, which facilitates its regular maintenance.

It is worth remembering that the sediment basket is not a standard element of the WM2-150D inlet and is available as a separate additional assortment – allowing it to be adapted to individual needs and the specifics of a given object. WM2-150D bridge inlets are characterized by high load resistance (class D400), making them ideal for places with high traffic volume. The inlet body is made of EN-GJL 200 cast iron, providing durability and corrosion resistance. In addition, the inlet design allows for adjustment of the outflow height and grate.
