This Cat 8.1 shielded S/FTP keystone RJ45 socket is a robust element of structured cabling, designed for reliability and ease of installation. It is suitable for both professional network installations and home systems where connection stability and interference resistance are important. Compatibility with various keystone adapters (16.10 x 14.50 mm) allows for flexible use in panels, flush-mount boxes and other solutions.

Construction and application

The socket is designed for quick tool-less installation – saving time and convenience for the installer. It features an IDC connector cover and clear 568A/B connection sequence markings, minimizing the risk of errors during cabling. Universal slit connectors are compatible with the popular LSA tool. The metal housing provides durability and mechanical resistance. The socket supports PoE, PoE+ and UPoE standards up to 57V, allowing network devices to be powered directly via Ethernet cable.

Performance and technical parameters

The socket is designed to work with wires with a diameter of 22-24 AWG. S/FTP shielding effectively reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring a stable connection even in environments with high noise levels. The socket design guarantees a long service life – over 750 connection and disconnection cycles. Thanks to category 8.1, it offers bandwidth suitable for modern applications requiring high data transmission speeds. The keystone port width is 14.5 mm and the height is 16.1 mm, ensuring compatibility with most standard frames and panels. The external dimensions are 34 mm long, 14.5 mm wide and 19.6 mm high. The socket operates at an ambient temperature of -10 to 60°C.
