This 5-meter Cat5E patch cord is a solid choice for building and expanding computer networks. It will work both in a small home office and in larger installations where connection reliability is important. Made with CCA conductors and covered with a PVC jacket, it provides basic protection against mechanical damage.

Construction and parameters

The patch cord is made in U/UTP standard, which means no shielding. This solution reduces costs, but is sufficient in most typical applications where the level of electromagnetic interference is not high. Conductors with a thickness of 26AWG (7 x 0.15mm) guarantee good conductivity and flexibility of the cable. The outer diameter of the cable is 4.8mm (+/- 0.2mm). The black finish (RAL9004) makes it easier to identify cables in the installation.

The patch cord supports a frequency of up to 100MHz and a bandwidth of up to 1 Gb/s – sufficient for most modern network applications.
