Solid connections in the network – Cat. 5E UTP patch cord
This set of 10 Cat. 5E UTP patch cords is a reliable solution for building and expanding computer networks. It will work well both in home installations and in offices or data centers, where stability and data transmission speed are important. The cables are supplied in a practical zip-lock bag, which facilitates storage and transport.
These patch cords have been tested and certified by Fluke, which guarantees their high quality and compliance with industry standards. This is particularly important for professional installers who need to be sure that the components they use meet the design requirements and ensure trouble-free network operation.
Construction and parameters
The patch cords are made of copper-clad aluminum (CCA), which provides good conductivity while maintaining a reasonable price. The cable cores are a strand consisting of 7 wires with a diameter of 0.16mm, surrounded by HDPE insulation with a thickness of 0.8mm. The whole is protected by an external PVC coating with a diameter of 5.0mm. This construction ensures the flexibility of the cable and resistance to mechanical damage.
It is worth noting the length counter print on each meter of cable – this is a useful function during installation, allowing for precise adjustment of the cable length to your needs. Operation up to a frequency of 100MHz and compliance with ANSI/TIA/EIA-568B standards guarantee compatibility with most network devices available on the market.
These patch cords are characterized by category Kat. 5E, providing a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz, which is sufficient for most network applications. They are U/UTP cables, i.e. unshielded – ideal for environments with a low level of interference. Their length is 0.5m, which makes them optimal for connections in rack cabinets or directly to devices. They are made of copper-clad aluminum (CCA) with a cross-section of AWG 26 (870.16mm), which is a good compromise between price and performance. The external PVC coating provides durability and abrasion resistance, and the whole is supplied in a practical zip-lock bag facilitating storage and transport.
The set is primarily intended for wholesale applications and as an element of larger structured cabling systems. Due to the lack of full product labeling in accordance with legal requirements, it is not recommended for retail sale of individual pieces.
