Construction and application

The patch cord is made of CCA (copper clad aluminum) wires and has a PVC jacket. This combination of materials provides flexibility and durability of the cable. With a length of 1 meter, it is ideal for short connection sections between devices – e.g. between a computer and a router, or a switch and a server. Category 6 allows data transmission at speeds up to 10 Gb/s at a frequency of up to 250 MHz, which is sufficient for most modern network applications. The use of stranded wires with a thickness of 26AWG (7 x 0.16mm) ensures good cable flexibility, making it easier to route and install. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.4mm +/- 0.2mm.
