A set of 20 shielded RJ45 (8P8C) category 5E plugs, dedicated to FTP LAN cables. This is a solid solution for both professionals performing network installations and end-users who independently take care of their internet connection. Lanberg plugs provide stable data transmission and minimize signal interference.

Construction and Application

The plugs are designed with versatility in mind. Thanks to the use of triple teeth (3prong), they are compatible with two types of wires: stranded and solid. This eliminates the need to have different sets of plugs for different types of cables.

• Stranded cables – consist of a bundle of thinner wires, ideal for patch cords and shorter sections.
• Solid cables – made of a single metal wire, recommended for structured cabling installations.

The diameter of the plug hole (1.00 ± 0.07 mm) has been precisely selected to ensure a secure connection with the HDPE conductor. The material used – plastic – guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The transparent color makes identification and connection control easier.

Shielding and Standards

The plugs have F/UTP shielding, which protects against electromagnetic interference (EMI). This is particularly important in environments with high levels of electrical noise, where data transmission stability is crucial. Compliance with category 5E ensures a bandwidth of up to 100 MHz, allowing for comfortable operation in Gigabit Ethernet networks.
