RJ45 Cat. 5E Plugs – Solid Network Connections

This kit contains 20 unshielded, pass-through RJ-45 (8P8C) Cat. 5E plugs designed for UTP cables. They are ideal for creating and repairing network connections in structured cabling installations and for producing patch cords. These plugs are versatile – thanks to the triple teeth (3prong) they fit both solid (single-core) and stranded (multi-core) wires. This solution saves time and eliminates the need to have separate plugs for different cable types.

Versatility and Easy Installation

Lanberg plugs are compatible with both types of wires – solid core (used in structured cabling installations) and stranded wire (used in patch cords, on shorter lengths). The diameter of the hole in the connector, measuring 1.00 mm (+/- 0.07 mm), ensures a secure seating of the HDPE conductor. The NT-0204 crimper, dedicated to Lanberg pass-through plugs, is recommended for mounting these plugs, guaranteeing a durable and reliable connection.

Construction and Application

The plugs are made of durable plastic and have a transparent color, making it easier to visually check the correctness of the connection. Designed for telecommunications category Cat. 5/5e, they provide adequate data transmission quality for most home and office applications. The lack of shielding (U/UTP) makes them an economical solution, especially where there is no requirement for cable shielding.
