The ÖLFLEX® SERVO cable 2YSLCYK-JB is an advanced solution for connections in applications powering inverters and motors. This flexible cable with PVC insulation and double shielding guarantees minimization of electromagnetic interference. It is ideal for use in dry, humid and wet environments, and the black version is UV resistant, allowing it to be used outdoors as well. The cable construction allows operation at temperatures down to -15°C, making it suitable for outdoor applications in colder climates.

Construction and properties

ÖLFLEX® SERVO 2YSLCYK-JB stands out with carefully selected materials and construction, providing optimal operating parameters:

• Conductors: Made of fine stranded copper wires, providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending.
• Insulation: Polyethylene (PE) with low capacitance, enabling transmission of signals over long distances without loss of quality.
• Shielding: Double shielding – laminated aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires – provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in motion control systems.
• Outer jacket: Durable PVC jacket resistant to acids, bases and limited resistance to oils. The black version also features UV resistance.
• 3+3 Construction: Available balanced 3+3 version with three-part protective grounding minimizes the risk of bearing damage to the motor by reducing harmful leakage currents. This translates to a longer life of electric motors and lower maintenance costs.
