Universal control cable for a wide range of applications

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 control cable is a flexible and reliable control cable with PVC insulation, designed for stationary installations and occasional bending without tensile stress. It is suitable for both dry and damp rooms, exposed to moderate mechanical loads. This cable is particularly recommended for use in wind turbines (WTG) due to its resistance to torsion.

Construction and properties

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. It is made of fine-stranded copper conductors, insulated with LAPP P8/1 PVC. The cores are twisted in layers, and the whole is surrounded by a gray (similar to RAL 7001) outer jacket made of PVC. The cores are marked with black numbers, which facilitates the identification of individual conductors during installation and servicing – in accordance with VDE 0293-334.

The cable meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard in terms of fire resistance and DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54) regarding oil resistance. This allows it to be used in industrial environments where there is a risk of contact with chemicals and oils. A version with a protective conductor (G = GN-YE) or without it (X) is available.
