Construction and properties

This cable is characterized by a construction based on 12 copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are numbered with digits, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. The outer jacket made of PVC provides protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of oils – it is resistant to acids and alkalis according to DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54). Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor, which increases safety.

Technical parameters and application

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 12G2.5 cable is intended for fixed and occasionally moving connections without tensile loads. It can be used for wiring control circuits inside machines, between plants and in universal industrial installations. Its rated voltage is 500 V (300 V U0), and the minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 59.2 mm, and in moving installations without guidance – 148 mm. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 14.8 mm. The permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -15 to 70°C, and after installation (without vibration) from -40 to 80°C.
