The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 control cable is a versatile solution for electrical installations in dry, damp, and even wet environments. It is suitable for control systems, assembly lines, control panels, data processing equipment, and machines with European specifications. The construction with PVC insulation and an outer PVC jacket provides flexibility and reliability.

Construction and properties

This cable features a multi-wire construction of class 5 copper conductors, guaranteeing high flexibility and mechanical strength. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the outer jacket is made of PVC sheathing in gray (RAL 7001). The cores are black with white numbers, and the cable also includes a green-yellow protective conductor. This makes it easy and intuitive to identify individual cores, simplifying installation and servicing.

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 cable is oil-resistant according to DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54), making it an ideal choice for industrial environments exposed to oily substances. It also has a fire reaction class of Eca, providing additional safety.

Application and benefits

This control cable is designed for both fixed installations and occasional bending without tensile stress. It can be used in dry and damp rooms with medium mechanical load. Additionally, it is suitable for applications requiring twisting, typical for wind turbine generators (WTG). Under appropriate conditions, it can also be used in energy chains over a distance of up to 5 meters with one million bending cycles.

The minimum bending radius during installation is 4 x the outer diameter for fixed installations and 10 x the outer diameter for occasional bending. When used in energy chains, this radius is 15 x the outer diameter. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300V, and the test voltage is 4000V. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 10.5 mm with a core cross-section of 0.5 mm².
