The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 control cable is a flexible and reliable solution for fixed and occasionally moving installations, without tensile stress. It is suitable for both dry and humid rooms, exposed to moderate mechanical loads. The construction with copper strands and PVC insulation provides good chemical resistance and oil resistance, making it an ideal choice for industrial environments. This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring a large number of cores – it is available in a version with up to 100 cores.

Construction and properties

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 cable is characterized by a careful construction, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Stranded copper conductors, insulated with LAPP P8/1 PVC, are twisted in layers, and the whole is covered with a gray (RAL 7001) outer PVC coating. Core identification is done using numbers, which facilitates assembly and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor (GN-YE), increasing safety. Thanks to its flexibility, the cable works well in applications requiring frequent bending, such as inside wind turbine generators (WTG) – while maintaining appropriate parameters regarding the bending radius and number of bending cycles.
