Universal control cable for various applications

The ÖLFLEX CLASSIC 110 control cable is a flexible and reliable solution for fixed installations and occasional bending without tensile stress. It is suitable for both dry and humid environments, exposed to moderate mechanical loads. The cable construction, with copper strands and PVC insulation, provides good chemical resistance and oil resistance – compliance with DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54) standard. The cable is particularly recommended for use in wind turbines, where frequent twisting occurs.

Construction and characteristics

The ÖLFLEX CLASSIC 110 cable consists of multi-wire, flexible copper strands insulated with PVC (LAPP P8/1 type). The strands are twisted in layers, and the whole is covered with a gray (RAL 7001) outer PVC coating. Numbering of the strands with black digits facilitates identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. A version with a protective conductor (GN-YE) is available. The round cross-section makes it easier to route cables in tight spaces.
