Universal control cable for various applications

The OLFLEX CLASSIC 110 7G4 cable is a versatile solution for control wiring in machines, industrial installations and buildings. It is characterized by high flexibility and durability, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh conditions. The construction with seven cores with a cross-section of 4 mm² allows for the transmission of control and power signals.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-wire copper conductors class 5, which guarantees good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during frequent bending. The cores are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and numbered, which facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation. The whole is surrounded by a gray outer PVC coating, providing protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of oils. The cable also has a protective conductor, increasing safety.

• Flexibility: The multi-wire construction of the cores provides high flexibility, allowing easy routing of the cable even in tight spaces and complex arrangements.
• Chemical resistance: The PVC outer coating is resistant to acids and bases, allowing the cable to be used in industrial environments.
• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C after installation (without vibration), and during installation from -15°C to +70°C.
• Safety: The presence of a protective conductor and high test voltage (4000 V) guarantee safe use.
• Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60332-1-2 standard regarding flame retardancy and has Eca classification in terms of reaction to fire according to EU directive 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR).
• Oil resistance: The cable is resistant to oils in accordance with DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54).

The minimum bending radius for moving installations is 134 mm, and for fixed installations 53.6 mm, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term connection reliability. The available outer diameter is approximately 13.4 mm.
