Control cable for a wide range of applications
ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 control cable is a flexible control cable with PVC insulation, designed for stationary installations and occasional bending without tensile stress. It is suitable for both dry and humid environments exposed to medium mechanical loads. This cable is characterized by high oil resistance and is approved for use in wind turbines (WTG) due to its twistability.
The cable is available in many configurations, up to 100 cores, making it a versatile solution for various applications in automation and control. Made of copper with PVC insulation, it provides reliable electrical connections.
Construction and properties
The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 cable has a stranded construction (class 5), which provides high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during bending. The cores are numbered with black digits according to VDE 0293-334, which facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. The round shape of the cable makes it easy to route in tight spaces.
Additional features:
- Oil resistance according to DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54).
- Good chemical resistance (detailed information in attachment T1 of the catalog).
- Self-extinguishing according to IEC 60332-1-2.
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installation and from -15°C to +70°C for occasional bending.
- Rated voltage 300/500V.
- Minimum bending radius: 4x outer diameter for fixed installations, 10x outer diameter for occasional bending and 15x outer diameter in energy chains.
