This flexible ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 400 P control cable is a reliable solution for connections in machines, industrial installations and control systems. The cable is designed for both stationary and occasionally moving applications where tensile loads do not occur. Its construction ensures durability and resistance to external factors, which translates to a long service life and minimizes the risk of failure.

The cable is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the multi-wire strand construction of the cores, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. The polyurethane (PUR) jacket is a key element that provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears and the action of mineral oils and many chemicals. This makes the cable ideal for harsh industrial environments - in wet, contaminated and chemically exposed environments. The possibility of use outdoors (taking into account the temperature range) further increases its versatility.

Construction and properties

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 400 P cable is made of stranded copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which ensures good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation and servicing. The core insulation is made of PVC, while the outer jacket made of PUR guarantees high mechanical and chemical resistance. The rated voltage is 300/500 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.7 mm.

An additional advantage is the confirmed resistance to ECOLAB® disinfectants and cleaning agents, making it an ideal choice for applications in the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries. A version with a black DESINA jacket is also available for specific application requirements.
