The ÖLFLEX® ROBUST 210 control cable is a reliable solution for indoor and outdoor applications exposed to harsh weather conditions, oils, chemicals and mechanical stress. This cable is designed for versatility – it will work both in fixed and occasionally moving installations, without tensile loads. Ideal for connections inside machines and between buildings.

Application and design features

This flexible cable with a cross-section of 10G1.5 mm² (10 cores with a diameter of 1.5 mm²) is particularly recommended for operation in harsh environments – car washes, sewage treatment plants, composting plants and in the food industry. The robust construction with core insulation made of modified PP and an outer jacket made of TPE provides resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including vegetable and animal oils, biogas and ECOLAB® disinfectants. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even during frequent cleaning with steam or contact with water-soluble cleaning agents. Proven resistance to weather conditions, ozone and UV radiation guarantees long-lasting and reliable operation outdoors.

Additionally, the cable remains flexible even at low temperatures (down to -40°C), which facilitates installation and operation in difficult conditions. The low-capacitance design allows it to be used on longer signal transmission sections. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation. The cable is available with a yellow-green protective conductor (G) or without it (X). The rated voltage is 300/500 V and the test voltage is 4000 V. Complies with VDE 0250 / 0285 standards.
