This shielded coaxial cable from LAPP is a robust solution for data and signal transmission in a wide range of industrial applications. The construction with a polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket provides resistance to mineral oils, chemicals and mechanical damage, making it an ideal choice for use in moving machine parts, chain guides and in places exposed to aggressive substances.

The UNITRONIC® FD CP (TP) plus A cable is particularly useful where electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is important, minimizing interference and ensuring stable signal transmission. This makes it suitable for machine interfaces, automation systems and anywhere high-quality connections are required. The cable construction allows it to maintain flexibility even at low temperatures, down to -40°C, which expands its range of applications to outdoor installations in Europe and wind turbines.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a 2x2x0.5 mm² construction, which means two twisted pair cores, providing better resistance to interference. The cores are made of copper, and the entire cable is surrounded by a shield of tinned copper braid, which effectively protects against the influence of external electromagnetic fields. The PUR jacket provides not only chemical and mechanical resistance, but also flexibility and UV resistance. The outer diameter of the cable is 8.3 mm and the spool length is 100 meters.

The use of high-quality materials and careful construction guarantee long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the cable even in difficult operating conditions. The cable meets the C(RU) AWM I/II A/B UL 21576 standard, confirming its compliance with safety and quality requirements. It is also RoHS compliant, meaning it does not contain harmful substances.
