ÖLFLEX® TRAIN 331 railway cable – reliability in demanding conditions

The ÖLFLEX® TRAIN 331 cable is a solution dedicated to applications in rail vehicles, meeting the EN 50264-3-1 type M standard. Designed to operate in harsh conditions, it provides reliable electrical connections in trains and buses. Its construction and materials guarantee resistance to external factors and safe use.

Application and properties

This cable performs perfectly in dry, humid, and even harsh and oily environments. The black version is particularly recommended for outdoor installations exposed to UV radiation. The wide range of applications includes control panels, converters, switchgear, control panels and lighting. It can be used in both stationary installations and where limited movement occurs.

Construction and parameters

The ÖLFLEX® TRAIN 331 cable is characterized by a precise construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. The core is made of fine-stranded copper wire, which increases its flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Insulation made of electron-beam crosslinked polymer provides excellent dielectric properties and chemical resistance. The cable is available in black (BK) with a single core with a cross-section of 1 mm². The rated voltage is 0.6/1 kV and the test voltage is 600V.
