Built for intensive use, it provides reliable transmission of power and signals in environments characterized by continuous bending and twisting movements. Its construction guarantees high flexibility and resistance to mechanical, chemical damage and weather conditions.

Construction and properties

The key to the cable's exceptional durability is its advanced construction. Stranded bare copper conductors, insulated with TPE, are twisted in layers, providing flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. An additional layer of PTFE foil and a braid of copper wires minimize electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), which is resistant to abrasion, tearing, mineral oils and many chemicals. The PUR jacket also provides UV resistance, allowing the cable to be used in outdoor applications.

This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C during dynamic operation and from -50°C to +80°C during stationary installation. It withstands up to 5 million bending cycles, making it an ideal choice for robots with high work intensity. The minimum bending radius is 15 times the cable diameter during dynamic operation and 4 times during stationary installation.
