Durable single core cable for extreme temperatures
The ÖLFLEX® HEAT 180 SiF/GL core is a reliable solution for applications in high-temperature environments where standard cables fail. Designed to operate in a range from -50°C to +180°C, it ensures continuity and safety in demanding conditions. Its construction with silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high temperatures, as well as to many chemicals and oils. The cable is available in white and supplied in spools of 100 meters.
Application and properties
The ÖLFLEX® HEAT 180 SiF/GL cable finds wide application in industries where temperature is a challenge. It is ideal for:
- Electrical switchboards exposed to heat.
- Electrical apparatus and motors operating in difficult thermal conditions.
- Saunas, solariums and heating systems.
- Lighting technology, especially with halogen light sources.

Additionally, the core is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the glass fiber braid, which facilitates installation and routing of cables in tight spaces. The silicone insulation provides not only thermal resistance but also self-extinguishing properties and halogen-free, which increases safety. The cable has a rated voltage of 300/500V and an outer diameter of 3.8 mm for a cross-section of 2.5 mm². Its construction with tinned copper strand ensures good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
