Durable ÖLFLEX® HEAT 205 SC conductor – for extreme conditions
This single ÖLFLEX® HEAT 205 SC conductor is a proposal for installers and users who need a reliable conductor in places exposed to very high temperatures and an aggressive chemical environment. This cable performs where standard cables fail.
The conductor is designed to operate in temperatures from -100°C to +205°C, making it ideal for use in furnaces, heating devices, electric motors and in the chemical industry. Made of tinned copper, with FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) insulation, it provides not only high conductivity and flexibility, but also resistance to the action of most acids, oils, solvents and weather conditions.
- Resistance to extreme temperatures: Operating range from -100°C to +205°C allows for use in the most demanding environments.
- Chemical resistance: FEP insulation protects against the action of aggressive chemicals, which is crucial in the chemical industry and laboratories.

The ÖLFLEX® HEAT 205 SC conductor with a cross-section of 6 mm² and red insulation is supplied in spools of 100 meters. Its outer diameter is 4.1 mm. The lack of shielding makes it an economical solution for applications where protection against electromagnetic interference is not a priority. The cable meets the requirements for difficult flammability and does not have a CPR (Construction Products Regulation) classification.
