ÖLFLEX® SPIRAL 400 P spiral cable for applications in motion

This flexible spiral cable from Lapp Kabel is the ideal solution where a high degree of freedom of movement and resistance to external factors are required. The polyurethane (PUR) construction provides mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, and the spiral allows the cable to be extended if necessary. The ÖLFLEX® SPIRAL 400 P 3G1.5/1500 cable is perfect for applications related to machine building, industrial equipment and anywhere a reliable control or power cable is needed.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by three cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of flexible stranded copper (class 5). The core insulation is made of PVC, which provides good electrical insulation. The outer PUR coating guarantees resistance to oils, greases, abrasion and UV radiation. Core identification by numbers facilitates correct connection. The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 300/500 V.

The length of the spiral in the unstretched state is 1500 mm, and when stretched it can reach up to 4500 mm – this provides great flexibility during installation and use. The permissible ambient temperature range during installation is from +5°C to +50°C.
