The ÖLFLEX® SERVO 2XSLCY-JB cable is a flexible, shielded cable designed for connecting inverters to motors. It ensures safe and efficient power transmission in demanding industrial conditions. The cable's construction is designed for long-term operation and minimization of electromagnetic interference.

Construction and application

This cable is ideal for connecting frequency converters and motors, both in fixed installations and those subject to occasional movement. It can be used in dry, humid and wet environments, as well as outdoors (taking temperature ranges into account). The outer jacket made of PVC provides resistance to acids, bases and limited resistance to oils. This makes the cable suitable for a variety of industrial applications, from production lines to air conditioning systems. Its construction allows for powering even large electric drives.

• Double shielding: Aluminum laminated foil and copper braid shielding effectively suppress electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable device operation and minimizing the risk of damage.

• Durable XLPE insulation: The core insulation made of XLPE is characterized by low capacitance and excellent electrical properties, allowing for long-distance power transmission without losses. Improved insulation also allows operation at a core temperature of up to +90°C, expanding the range of cable applications.

• Resistance to external factors: The outer jacket made of PVC protects the cable from mechanical damage and the influence of aggressive chemicals. Additional resistance to UV radiation allows the cable to be used outdoors.

• Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of EU 305/2011 (BauPVO/CPR), which guarantees its safety and high quality. It also has UL/CSA certificates allowing its use in the North American market.

• Protection against parasitic currents: Versions with a balanced cable construction and three-part protective grounding are available, which minimize the formation of harmful currents on the motor bearing, extending its service life.

• Electrical parameters: The cable is adapted to a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV and a rated voltage U0 of 0.6 kV. The outer diameter of the 4G1.5 cable is approximately 10.9 mm. The material of the outer jacket is polyethylene (PE).
