Human Centric Lighting Control Unit

The BIOLUX HCL control unit is the central element of the LEDVANCE Human Centric Lighting (HCL) system, designed to work with BIOLUX HCL luminaires and LED strips, as well as the optional VIVARES presence sensor. It enables the creation of dynamic lighting scenes, adapted to the natural circadian rhythm, which affects comfort and work efficiency. The system is easy to install and configure, and its wireless Zigbee 3.0 technology ensures flexibility and reliability.

Functionality and application

The device offers six predefined lighting modes – RELAX, CREATE, NATURAL, FOCUS, BOOST and ON/OFF – which can be conveniently selected using the control unit itself or the LEDVANCE BIOLUX mobile app (available on Android and iOS). The selected mode is displayed on the built-in screen. Additionally, the app allows you to create individual lighting schedules and configure the VIVARES presence sensor. This allows the system to automatically adapt to the needs of users and the surrounding conditions. The control unit is designed for mounting in standard recessed boxes, making it easy to integrate with existing electrical infrastructure.
