Modern LED luminaire with smart Zigbee control

The BIOLUX HCL DOWNLIGHT ZIGBEE GEN 2 LED luminaire is an advanced downlight lighting solution featuring Human Centric Lighting (HCL) technology and wireless Zigbee 3.0 control. Thanks to the Tunable White function, it allows for color temperature adjustment in the range of 2700…6500K, enabling the lighting to be adapted to the users' natural circadian rhythm.

Technical parameters and energy efficiency

A nominal power of 20W with a luminous flux of 2100 lumens ensures high energy efficiency at a level of 105 lm/W. The luminaire operates on a standard 220…240V network and is characterized by very good color reproduction CRI >90, which guarantees natural color rendering in the illuminated room.

A beam angle of 60° provides precise lighting of selected zones, and the high build quality is confirmed by the IP20 protection class, IK03 impact resistance, and insulation class II. The light source lifetime is 50000 hours for the L70/B50 parameter at +25°C.

HCL system and smart control

Zigbee 3.0 technology enables wireless communication between the luminaire and BIOLUX HCL or VIVARES ZIGBEE control systems, offering full control over lighting parameters via mobile applications or control panels. The Human Centric Lighting system automatically adjusts the color temperature and light intensity to the time of day, supporting the users' natural biological rhythm.

The luminaire provides excellent glare reduction (UGR ≤19) and is adapted for use in office environments in accordance with EN standards for computer workstations. Installation is extremely simple thanks to tool-free installation with the possibility of routing cables through the luminaire.

Regulatory compliance and system warranty

The product meets the requirements of European standards CE, CB, and UKCA, and also holds the EAC certificate for markets in the Eurasian Customs Union. The manufacturer's warranty is standardly 5 years, while when working in the BIOLUX HCL or VIVARES ZIGBEE system, the warranty is extended to 7 years.

An operating temperature range from -20°C to +40°C and a solid aluminum construction with a powder coating ensure reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The luminaire is compatible with popular smart home systems such as Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa, which expands integration possibilities in smart buildings.
