Operates without delay – reacts instantly to voltage drop

The undervoltage release 417420 has no time delay. When the control voltage drops below 20.4 V, the release disconnects the circuit within milliseconds – without delay and without the risk of dangerous automatic restart after a power failure. This is critical for safety in circuits with motor circuit protectors, where a suddenly stopped motor must not restart automatically upon voltage restoration.

Compatible only with MPX3 motor circuit protectors

This is not a universal release. It is designed exclusively for mounting on MPX3 series motor circuit protectors. It is not compatible with standard circuit breakers, overload relays, or disconnect switches. Its construction and terminals are specifically adapted to the mounting rails of these devices – installation is quick, but only on the appropriate base.

Screw terminals – simple, durable, safe

No push-in wires or quick-release terminals. All connections are made via screws: D1 and D2 on the front housing. This minimizes the risk of loose contacts, increases vibration resistance, and simplifies inspection during maintenance. There is no need to worry about contact loss after years of operation in industrial conditions.

Control voltage: 20.4–26.4 V AC – compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz

No need to choose between frequencies. The device operates stably within the same voltage range on both 50 Hz and 60 Hz networks – i.e., in Europe, North America, or other regions with different power standards. The nominal 24 V is merely a reference point; the actual operating range is wider and more resilient to grid fluctuations.

It does not operate below 20.4 V – this is intentional. It does not “hold on” at 18 V or 19 V. If the voltage drops, it disconnects – and immediately.
