Metal switchboard for mounting electrical systems

This XL³ S 630 metal switchboard is a robust solution for building safe and functional electrical installations. Designed for mounting protective devices with currents up to 630A, it enables the creation of certified sets in accordance with IEC/EN 61439-2 standards. The construction provides IP30 protection (without a door) or IP40 (with a door – available separately), making it suitable for use in dry rooms.

Construction and user features

The switchboard is made of powder-coated steel in RAL 7016 grey, guaranteeing durability and corrosion resistance. It is equipped with structural and mounting profiles, facilitating the installation of covers (covers available separately). The ability to remove the top and bottom plates increases flexibility during device mounting. Additionally, the switchboard is adapted for mounting Lina 25 busbars and Cabstop IP 55 cable entry plates, simplifying cable management. Internal dimensions – usable width 574 mm and depth 249 mm – allow for comfortable arrangement of devices. Total height is 1874 mm, and cover height is 1800 mm.

Application and compliance with standards

The XL³ S 630 switchboard is used in public buildings, industrial facilities, and residential installations requiring high reliability and safety. It is ideal for creating main and intermediate switchboards. The design does not comply with the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, so this should be taken into account when designing the installation. Mounting is intended for indoor use only, and the construction allows for metric mounting.
