Auxiliary contacts for modular contactors – reliable signaling and control

These auxiliary contacts, dedicated to the SM 300 series modular contactors, are a key element in control and signaling systems. They allow expanding the functionality of the contactor with additional auxiliary circuits, which translates into greater flexibility and control over processes. Functionality and application

A signaling contact with a rated voltage of 250V AC and a rated current of 5A allows for effective monitoring of the contactor status. The compact size – only 0.5 module wide – saves space in the switchgear cabinet. Thanks to the possibility of mounting on the left side of the contactor, installation is simple and intuitive. The use of one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact provides wide possibilities for configuring auxiliary circuits.

It should be noted that the contacts do not have a differential current self-test.
