The LNECO end cap is a universal closing element designed for DLP-S mini cable trunking with dimensions of 40×40 mm from the Legrand range. It can function as either a left or right end cap - simply select the appropriate orientation during installation. The product is supplied in white, which harmonizes with the trunking finish and is suitable for typical office and residential installations.

Construction and material

The end cap is made of plastic - in this case, halogen-free, which means no emission of toxic gases in fire conditions. This is a significant feature in the context of the fire safety of electrical installations. The surface of the end cap remains in a raw state, without additional processing. The model is snap-on mounted - simply plug the element into the front of the trunking without using tools. To increase mounting security, the manufacturer allows for additional fastening of the end cap with screws.

Application and compatibility

The end cap provides a tight seal for the front of the DLP-S mini 40×40 mm trunking, protecting the interior of the system from dust and moisture ingress. Plugged into the front side of the trunking, it effectively protects the cables routed inside from contamination and mechanical damage. The product is intended for indoor use - the operating temperature range is from 15 to 60 °C, and the storage temperature reaches from -25 to 60 °C, allowing for storage in various conditions.

Protection and performance parameters

The IP40 protection rating ensures effective protection against objects larger than 1 mm and freely falling water droplets - sufficient for typical office conditions and dry technical rooms. The IK06 impact resistance indicates durability against impacts with energy up to 1 joule, protecting the end cap from accidental damage during daily operation. The depth of the end cap is 15 mm - a dimension matched to the mini trunking profile.

The product does not have an antibacterial coating or protective film - it is not intended for applications requiring special hygiene or maintaining the surface in an untouched state until installation. It also does not support E30/E90 fire resistance functions during a fire.
