Distribution box enclosure – solid protection and flexible mounting

This distribution box enclosure, designed for surface mounting, is an integral part of the RN65 system. It provides reliable protection for electrical circuits in residential and commercial buildings. Made of high-quality plastic (impact-resistant polystyrene and polycarbonate), it is characterized by high mechanical strength (IK09) and tightness (IP65), guaranteeing safe operation even in harsh conditions.

The enclosure is designed for mounting modular equipment and other electrical devices. The ability to expand the system allows it to be adapted to changing needs. The enclosure design allows for free routing of cables, both horizontally and vertically, making installation and maintenance easier. A removable base facilitates wiring outside the distribution box, and the TH 35 supports can be removed individually, increasing configuration flexibility.

Construction features and application

The RN65 enclosure, 432 mm high and 137 mm wide, offers three rows for mounting devices. The lack of a mounting plate allows for individual adaptation of the interior to specific installation requirements. The design with an opening provides easy access to cables and devices. The gray color (RAL 7046) provides an aesthetic appearance and good visibility in low light conditions. The signal-permeable door does not interfere with the operation of wireless devices.

Thanks to the possibility of equipping with perforated mounting plates, the enclosure can be used not only for mounting modular equipment, but also devices with other constructions. The handle is recessed, protecting it from mechanical damage, and the ability to seal the cover and front cover increases safety. A connecting kit (available separately) allows the connection of multifunctional enclosures with RN65 distribution boards while maintaining the IP65 degree of protection.
